I have to admit that I was skeptical of this book when I first heard about it. I am not a sports fan and generally speaking not a big fan of angst. This book has both of those but also contains vivid descriptions of North Carolina Wine Country, and nuances of tobacco farming that I found to be absolutely fascinating. Overall, this book was fantastic and definitely one that I couldn't put down. I would recommend this novel to anyone looking for a contemporary take on Pride and Prejudice.
